Ward,
I am the user who posted the info re the dictation bug. There is another issue (bug?) with dictation. Requesting that dictation be sent to the email address entered in the user's extension config does not report "file not found". I run a 50 employee company that uses, but does not sell technology. A number of my people dictate letters, reports, etc. They are human, and errors in entering the identifying number before dictating (*34) or when requesting it be sent to the defined email address (*35) occur regularly. As presently configured, there is nothing to indicate that the *34 number did not match the *35 number except the failure to receive the transcribed letter after several days. Finding the mis-keyed .raw file can sometimes be a challenge. I've patched the audio-email.pl file to send a file not file found message to the dictation destination email. I'm pleased to share that patch if anyone is interested. A better solution would be to email the dictator, but that would require a modification of the dialplan. I'd be pleased to make that change if you guys would consider including the change.

Hi All,

I just installed from "pbxinaflash-x86_64-17553.iso", then ran the incrediblepbx18.x installer. everything seemed to go well, but when i login to freepbx, there are no extensions, inbound or outbound routes, or anything. ideas?

thanks!

Incredible PBX doesn't yet support 64-bit installs. Sorry.

Incredible PBX doesn't yet support 64-bit installs.

I was able to get this to work with an Intel D510 system.

I did this using the pbxinaflash-x86_64-17553.iso. The incrediblepbx18.x script ran fine too. I got all the extensions and other add-ons. Not sure what the magic was?

Is there a gotcha waiting for me?

Just haven't tested the 64-bit and some of the 32-bit packages may not be appropriate. Other than that, it should be fine.

not working yet...

hi ward,

i reinstalled with the 32 bit version. my sip phones are registering.

1. 800 numbers ring and ring and ring. see attached logfile 800.txt.
2. regular numbers don't even get a ring, just silence till eventually i get the fast beep sound. see attached logfile regular.txt.
3. if i login to google voice on the web and place a call to an external number, this works about half the time. when it does work, it takes over 10 seconds, and then my sip phone starts ringing. the other half of the time, it just times out and nothing happens.

i've forwarded udp port 5222 to the asterisk box.

any ideas?

Check the TollFree profile under Outbound Routes and adjust the destination to your new gvoice-username context.

The rest of your questions already are covered in other threads.

A fix to incorporate the above patch into Incredible PBX is now available in this thread.

Thanks, blanchae, for catching the error

An incorrect comment character was used in gtalk.conf in some releases of Incredible PBX. This created errors in your Asterisk logs but otherwise did not affect operation of your system.

Applying the fix below will resolve the problem if you have it and will do no harm if you don't. Log into your server as root, and...

sed -i 's|#bind|;bind|' /etc/asterisk/gtalk.conf
sed -i 's|#ext|;ext|' /etc/asterisk/gtalk.conf
amportal restart

Oracle Virtual Box Setup

Using the PIAF ISO with Oracle VirtualBox, you'll need to enable IO APIC in order for the PIAF ISO to boot properly.
