NO JOY Weird DISA behaviour

PIAF DISA...
Get prompted to dial passcode, then press pound.

If I dial and press pound, I hear "TRANSFER", and transfer fails.

If I don't press # and wait, DISA succeeds.

Huh?

Any ideas appreciated.

(I have ## Transfer disabled, BTW)
