Running IncrediblePBX13-13 Scientific on an Intel NUC, one callcentric trunk with 5 DIDs. I'm seeing an intermittent issue with voicemail.

Sometimes a call will come in, the endpoint (Grandstream GXP2160) rings & displays the incoming call, and after the default ringtime the endpoint display goes to normal and the call goes to voicemail - as expected.

Other times, after the default ringtime, the endpoint display will go normal for a moment, then starts ringing again and redisplays the call. This repeats indefinitely until the caller hangs up. The call never goes to voicemail.

When this happens, the CDR shows it as a succession of separate 15 second "no answer" calls. The callcentric CDR shows it as separate calls too.

Any ideas?

If separate calls are originating from Callcentric, this problem may be that your PBX is sending a redirect or a failure message back to Callcentric. Callcentric then drops and retries the call.

You can run a SIP trace on the IP of your extension and see if the phone is sending an odd SIP message after 15 seconds. If the phone is set up wrong, it can cause issues. I would check to see if you have the phone itself set for no-answer forward in its web interface. Any forwards or redirects should be handled on the PBX and not on the phone itself.
