What do I do with this? Havne't been able to figure out where/how to delete/disable the "Digium mode"....

I don't know but you could make a blank file called /etc/wanpipe/global.conf and set the permissions to asterisk:asterisk and the message would go away - not very clean but if you're not using and Digium or Sangoma hardware shouldn't matter. Mode might also be a typo of module ?

well, couldn't get any headway, and nothing I tried worked.. fortunately had a good backup run (i am a believer in the Backup & restore functions, and it's paid off!)..

The only real issue i had is that the restores seem to not bring forward the secrets (passwords) for extensions.. so I did a restore, then punched in all the passwords (i maintain a spreadsheet offline), and the service is back up.....
