Well, I was going to have you do cascading time conditions, but it doesn't appear that FreePBX does that. At least not the version I'm using. I'll leave what's below there anyway, and I'll poke around some more. I lied. Have to create a time condition for the option to pop up. Continued in next post.

FreePBX > Applications > Time Conditions
Add Time Condition
Name: MtoTh08to1630
Time Group: MtoTh08to1630
Destination if time matches: Ring Group
Destination if time does not match: Set to Terminate > Hangup for now, we'll fix that shortly.
Submit

Add Time Condition
Name: FtoM1630to0800
Time Group: FtoM1630to0800
Destination if time matches: Cell Phone 2 (Extension or Misc. Destination)
Destination if time does not match: Cell Phone 1 (Extension or Misc. Destination)
Submit

That should get you going.

That's how you had it in the first post unless I read it wrong. When closed on Monday-Thursday, ring Cell 1. Closed Thursday would run from 4:30pm to 8:00am the next morning.

It should. I've been wrong before though.

This is a kind of typical scenario ... One other thing that I've noticed that customers like these need, is the option to go to their "away hours" grouping during office hours because someone is going to lunch, running to bank, etc. ... Adding call flow control will solve that, but then you run into the problem of them forgetting they turned it on, and then needing to turn it back off. I've decided to add a BLF for flow control on their phones so that they can push to "away" or "in office" with a touch of a button complete with the LED letting them know that they are in the Away mode.

Would i have to set the destination if no match for time condition (MtoTh08to1630) to time condition (FtoM1630to0800)?

i got it all setup now (had to change it to monday to friday but the rest is all the same) but for some reason on weekends calls are going to cellphone-1 instead of cellphone-2.
I tested this sunday at 16:15, I'm going to wait around until 16:30 and see if it works properly after 16:30.

ok, so at 16:41 it went to cellphone-2. I'm guessing I'm going to have to do a separate entry in the time group for each day of the weekend right?

I wouldn't think so. It should be a binary operation - either it matches the time or it doesn't. Can you post some call logs?
