Okay I have streaming music on hold set up on Incredible PBX 13 and just have a question. I have noticed that activity on my network traffic has increased. I have not yet set up a trunk so the system is not yet connected. On closer inspection of the packets it appears to be using a lot of mp3 and shoutcast data from the internet.
Does just setting up the music on hold mean that the system is continually pulling down the music from the stream even when the hold is not in use? That is what it appears to be doing just looking at the data capture through my Unifi USG.
