Interesting discovery for those using RingPlus with XiVO. In your Outbound CallerID setting, you can spoof your CallerID number so long as the new number is also a RingPlus number. This might come in handy if you had two RingPlus accounts and one had unlimited calling while the other had huge free bandwidth and more modest minute restrictions. In this case, you would probably carry around the phone with the huge bandwidth and use the unlimited calling line for XiVO. So... spoof the number you're carrying around in your XiVO trunk, and phone calls from your PBX would still route callers to the mobile phone you carry around.
There are several really good deals on new Moto E phones in Classifieds that have very large data plans with 3,000-5,000 cellular/SIP minutes if you have not yet joined the party. The SIP service is first rate and uses Sprint's Internet backbone which makes it perfect for VoIP. These phones are ready to go and include a topup balance in the account of $20-$40. They come with a CallerID number in the Seller's hometown. If desired, you can change it to a local number for $2 deducted from your topup balance. Here's how to set up a credit card to buy one.
