I decided to be a "pioneer" and move to PJSIP (this is for a cloud install)
When I tried registering with VOIPMS, they declined all my calls (they only accept calls on 5060 and a handful of other ports - not 5061). My suggestion is to make the VOIPMS trunk an IAX trunk. Configuration samples can be found here
