TIPS Raspberry Pi Freepbx Login problem

Happy 4th to all!!!!

Following the excellent article about implementing PIAF on 512MB board.

All goes smoothly and I am able to get SSH access and install webmin and tweak raspi settings...

However........
All attempts to access the GUI via numerous browsers fail with error bad password or username. Happens on WIN7, XP and assorted Android machines.
tried username root, admin, maint

What is the secret to logging in to the Admin page if PIAF???
I know root is the recommended username and I am using an unique password, same as for SSH access
