Hi Folks,

I was running an old (PIAF 2.0.6.2, Incredible PBX 3.0.4) on a proxmox 2 server and it died. I was able to backup my container but I guess because I used the "snapshot" option to backup, when I restore (proxmox v4 now) I am getting the following errors (when connecting to the GUI):
FATAL ERROR
DB Error: connect failed
Trace Back
/var/www/html/admin/common/db_connect.php:63 die_freepbx()
[0]: DB Error: connect failed
/var/www/html/admin/bootstrap.php:75 require_once()
[0]: /var/www/html/admin/common/db_connect.php
/var/www/html/admin/config.php:61 require()
[0]: /var/www/html/admin/bootstrap.php

I have found info about those errors but the solutions (stopping mysqld, removing the socket and restarting the service) do not solve the issue in my case.
My questions are:
Is there something else I can try to recover from this?
Asterisk is working fine (freepbx is not) and I have access to all my conf files, is there a way to upgrade the system? (I tried update-source but I guess the mirrors are not there any more)
If I were to do a fresh install, is there an easy way to transfer my old configuration?

Thanks

Solved it, it was a permissions problem with /var/lib/mysql/
