In the Admin menu, I am getting a button that says AMP administration where my PIAF maint menu used to hang out. When I select it, I get:
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /admin/ on this server.

When I try to change the menu configuration I get:

Please set file access to allow writing for this feature to operate correctly!

Everything else seems to work correctly.

Can anyone PLEASE point me in the right direction with this? I have no idea what I did.

Thank you so much for your help. Unfortunately that didn't do it.

When I hit the admin switch, I get a password screen that doesn't like my password.

Tried passwd-master, restarting...

Would you happen to have any other ideas? I'm really stuck here...

:confused5:

Did you use the username 'maint' and your password? People get confused and either don't use a username or use admin. Those both won't work.

That's the odd part. It doesn't come up with the usual windows style login popup, it presents a web table style window that says password with a box. No matter what I put in there, it comes back bad password.:cryin:

Sure I have a backup! I took it right after I did the fresh install....

Is there anything I can run to re-do the menu system?

Still have issues :(

The menu system appears to have gotten hosed. Don't guess you have a backup :confused5:

You can download the menu system and start anew. Log into your server as root. Then...

cd /var/www/html
http://pbxinaflash.net/source/kennonsoft/menus.tar.gz
tar zxvf menus.tar.gz
rm menus.tar.gz

When I do something, I take great pride in doing it right....

.... and it looks like I hosed quite a bit more than the opening menus.

Did above, and thank you everyone. Unfortunately, when I hit the reappeared FreePBX Administration button, I get no login dialog box at all and I'm looking at a blank page.

Your recommendations Doctors?

Do we euthanize the patient or is there a newer procedure? The family and next of kin have been notified and will accept experimental procedures.

That seems to be the general line of thinking.

I would like to thank everyone once again. I appreciate it.
