Time Conditions and EPM show blank pages when trying to access them?

I uninstalled EPM / reinstalled with the new version, seemed to work for a minute, but then when I went back into EPM to configure extensions, I got the blank page again.

After Reinstalling a second time, I noticed in the install dialog, it says:

"Your permissions are wrong on /var/www/html, web provisioning link not created!"

Any help to get these two modules working again would be greatly appreciated. This is on a fresh install of PIAF Purple, just downloaded tonight, with Incredible PBX installed as well.

Thanks,
Josh

That message "Your permissions are wrong on /var/www/html, web provisioning link not created!"

Makes no difference. It won't mess up your system.

I think you have a bad full install.

please do this

tail -f /var/log/httpd/error_log

and then get the blank page and post back here.

Noticed a couple more that may be more useful reviewing the full log in nano:

PHP Notice: Undefined index: category in /var/www/html/admin/functions.inc.php on line 2077, referer: http://asterisk/admin/config.php?type=setup&display=did

*** glibc detected *** /usr/sbin/httpd: free(): invalid pointer: 0x00002aefbdaa4818 ***
*** glibc detected *** /usr/sbin/httpd: double free or corruption (out): 0x00007fffe6ee67e0 ***

The PHP Notice generally follows that glibc line 15-20 times after each failure.

Hopefully this is it, and I don't have to re-install again?

I ran a yum reinstall glibc, now I'm getting this each time I try to load the pages:

Notices and warns are fine. Are you still getting blank pages?

Perhaps the output from status would be helpful along with the following

yum list glibc
yum list php

Course you are running under 64bit which sometimes makes a difference for some programs although I have no idea about EPM.

Blank pages do still occur. I noticed it is also on the Reports tab, and avantfax page. Seems to be on more than what I thought, can't just be related to a certain module in FreePBX.

yum list glibc:
Installed Packages
glibc.i686 2.5-65 installed
glibc.x86_64 2.5-65 installed

yum list php:
Installed Packages
php.x86_64 5.1.6-27.el5_5.3 installed

statustofile attached

Thanks for posting the details I asked for. Makes it easier. Unfortunately you are running a stock install on real hardware. Lately there have been some interesting errors under various types of virtualization so that is not the problem area. I see that you are running the stock install stuff of glibc and php which is a good thing. On our lab machine on long term test I see no errors related to this and it is a plain stock install sans incredible and it works flawlessly.

my only suggestion at the moment is to try a reinstall without the incredible first and see if there are still blank pages similar to what you are currently experiencing. This will have the effect of helping to delineate where the fault may lay. If it is in the base install or in the incredible install.

I will see if I have a spare VM to put up a 64bit purple with incredible and see if it is duplicated. Please ensure if you do a reinstall you are using the very latest iso which is 1.7.5.7.1

The errors had started before the incredible install, I put that on actually wondering if something that it put in may update/replace what had broken.

I downloaded the ISO just last night as well, it was the 1.7.5.7.1 version. Wondering if I go back to the 32-bit if it may work?

I had PIAF running on this same hardware, installed about a year ago, a typo with chown hosed the system. Figured I may as well go from 32-bit 1.6 to 64-bit 1.8 while I was at the re-install, and came up with these errors.

Will let you know if going back to 32-bit tonight helps at all.

Thanks,
Josh

I personally highly recommend 32bit as it is what digium supports IF you need to get help from them. I have only 2 commercial installs with 64bit that the clients mandated it. They have always been problem children! my other 32 bit ones (200+ installs) never give me an ounce of problems except the ones I create!

It seems to me in conversation with Ward that incredible has some challenges with 64 bit although I may be misremembering.

I can't duplicate the problem on a fresh vm with 64bit purple under vmware.... Sorry

Reinstalled with 32-bit, worked great.

The only issue now is coincidentally with EPM again. When I try to click Install under Polycom in EPM Config, the page reloads, but nothing happens, The page error in IE says:

Message: Expected identifier, string or number
Line: 297
Char: 13
Code: 0
URI: http://asterisk/admin/config.php?type=tool&display=epm_config

Any advice to get this to install correctly? I updated to the latest version of EPM, didn't change anything though.

Thanks,
Josh

You had that error with the old version and the new version?

My advice. Don't use IE.

If you had this error with the old version then it's a problem on your system because no one has reported this at all.

Ran in chrome, it instantly comes back with:

Downloading firmware...Done!
Checking MD5sum of Package...
Firmware MD5 didn't match

Also noticed that under Asterisk SIP Settings, it can't Auto-Configure. The box does have internet access working great though? Not sure what I missed here to have these work right?
