The T100 is $299 but you have to call 800.759.1280.
It includes a Pentium E, 1 Gb Ram, and 1 80Gb drive. The deal is on the website, but it says you must call to get the deal.

I just got one myself.
It came with a 160gb hd instead of two 80gb drives.
Will the orgasmatron download still work ok on it ?

Check out the 840 too!

If you start upgrading drives and memory on the T100, check out the deals on the 840. It has a 3 year warranty, for not much more money, if any. There is currently a deal for 2Gb Ram, and 2 - 250Gb hard drives, and 3 yr warranty for $539. I'm not sure if the Orgasmatron will work on it, but 1.0, 1.1, 1.2. 1.3, and 1.4 of PBXinaFlash will. It also has room for 4 hard drives. The 840 is a little noisier than the SC440, I'm not sure about the T100.

With the upcoming 1.4 release, would it make sense to wait for that version, or will there be a way to upgrade the $10 Orgasmatron III version to the 1.4 version?

I think I already know the answer, but thought I'd ask anyway... :wink5:

Orgasmatron builds are snapshots kinda like the old A@H days. Because they're static, you can't snap your fingers and get a new version. But they certainly are upgradable. As with all PBX in a Flash systems, you can update FreePBX with the click of a button and then run update-scripts, update-source, and update-fixes to bring them current. And, if you're really brave, you can run yum update to get the latest and greatest CentOS as well.

P.S. Dell still has the T105 on sale for $279 this morning. E-Value code: 6w300-bedwv5x

My t100 just arrived yesterday. Tried the Orgasmatron build III but i think since I have a real raid card in there its messing with the restore. Ward do you have like a check list of what you put in the Orgasmatron build so I can just install from the base piaf disk and then run the scripts?

thanks

silly question

Ward,

Looking to buy the t100. Do I have to buy it with 80GB drives or can I get one with 160GB Drives? Not sure how Mondo work in that respect. All other specs i believe are the same.

Thanks in advance.

I haven't personally used the T105 but others have reported that it works fine. From the specs, the only real difference appears to be the processor which wouldn't cause a problem.

Personally, I'd MUCH rather have the SC440 back... the new T100's are now cut down to a single PCI slot in favor of PCI Express. And this single-slot is now the bottom slot, so no more multi-card Sangoma boards (PCI anyways). Furthermore, they moved the hard drive trays to where you can no longer use a full-length board, so no more Digium/Rhino/etc boards. Finally, they're now running ATI chips. The chassis in general has been cheapened a bit in favor of cost cutting in manufacturing. Best example: the slot clamps no longer hinge running along the chassis door. This means if you have a 3/4-length card that would technically fit, it still won't fit because you can't plug it in straight anymore.

I think it was definately a step backwards. Just about the only good thing I can say, is that PATA is finally gone.
