SOLVED Long delay on PiAF landing page when PiAF website down

When PiAF website was down I had long delay going to or refreshing my PiAF landing page on my PBX because it was trying to fetch an rss.xml file from the PiAF website...which wasn't working because the site was down.

Any plans to fix this so it doesn't happen again? Perhaps add a time out.
