Hi,

You need to give more information regarding your setup.
  • Did you use the 3CX/PIAF ISO?
  • Did you install it on a clean Debian8/9 machine?
  • Was it working fine until you setup iptables?

The following steps were run on a clean OVH Debian 9
  1. Code:
    wget -O- http://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/3cxpbx/public.key | apt-key add -
echo "deb http://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/debian stretch main" | tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/3cxpbx.list
    apt-get update
    apt-get install libcurl3=7.38.0-4+deb8u5
    apt-get install 3cxpbx
It was working fine until the iptables were set up.

Did you install the firewall from the same computer where you now cannot login? Does it have a dynamic IP address?

My tech, Mustabeen (a new member on this forum) actually did the install.
I believe that she did use the same computer (she will confirm that shortly) and that it does have a dynamic IP.
However, I believe that she also confirmed that the IPs were all correct after the install.

She will be available to confirm that in 10 minutes.
It should be noted that my IP address was added to the IP tables and I am also unable to login.

yes i am using the same computer i can see the login screen , but i just cant get into the system by logging in it throws an server error

i have tested the iptables lockdown by removing my ip in this case it does let me even see the login screen
but as i add my ip it does let me see the login screen but something is blocking the either the access of database or some other process

What port are you attempting to login on?? Have you tried disabling IPtables temporarily to see if it makes a difference? Look at the top of /usr/local/sbin/iptables-restart for the proper command.

FYI: I'm out in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean at the moment so don't expect instantaneous answers. Internet service is hit and miss.

eth0: No such device exists (SIOCGIFHWADDR: No such device)

just some other information
when i run last command
./tm3-3cx.sh

my process/script ends here

eth0: No such device exists (SIOCGIFHWADDR: No such device)
and then nothing happen untill i press the enter key which stops the process/script
i am not sure if its the right end of the script/process or not
so this might be something which can help you understand the issue
