Just an FYI ... I don't if it's due to an Ombutel upgrade or because I installed it at OVH on Centos 7 but there are a couple of extra things I had to do when following the directions for nv-news at http://nerdvittles.com/?p=20408
First of all I had to install flite and flite-devel which my installer (from the Ombutel forums at https://www.ombutel.com/forums/topic/ombutel-debian-install/ ) didn't install. After that asterisk-flite compiled and installed, but puts the application .so file in /usr/lib/asterisk/modules when it should be in /usr/lib64/asterisk/modules. After copying it over it worked great. The rest of the process worked great and now nv-news is available, very nice. Looking forward to the entire Incredible Apps suite for Ombutel which was "hinted" is in the works
