IncrediblePBX Digium Phone Config

I just installed IncrediblePBX and have two local Digium D40 phones partly working. Phone features like the Messages button simply direct me to the phone web interface, which has no config for the button.

I would appreciate any assistance on which files need to be adjusted and how to update them.
