I'm running Incredible PBX 13 12.2 on Virtual Box

When I login to the web administration, I login successfully, but navigating to any other page in the admin facility doesn't show me as being logged in.

I uploaded an image here which illustrates my issue

----

Additional Info:

My first instinct was to look at the cookie data, but that shows PHPSESSID being set AND persisting to the next page where I am no longer logged in (see screenshot)

Please note that this is my first time working with VirtualBox or Incredible PBX.

Where in the screenshot does it show you're not logged in??

Here is a better illustration of the problem I'm having.

----

Summary: After logging in, I select an administration feature in the nav bar. Rather than seeing the feature options, I'm prompted to log in again (when I click the Incredible PBX Administration icon).

Perhaps I am actually logged in (as the PHPSESSID cookie suggests), I'm just not being presented with the administration feature options I should be presented when ?display=[featurename] is passed in the URL.

Thanks!

I just tried Internet Explorer and had the same result.

Here is a screenshot in case it may provide more clues.

It's seems as though the application isn't treating me as being logged in even though the I authenticated successfully and the PHPSESSID cookie is set.

-----

Side Note:

I'm pretty fluent in php and front end development. Unfortunately the virtualbox / linux environment is new to me so I currently don't know how view the file system to see the contents of "/admin/config.php."

If you could provide any insight on that (even a helpful link or two) I'd appreciate it. It may allow me to provide more useful info to solve this problem.

Additional Info: I just confirmed that the system date / time on the server is correct. I suspect that if the system time was incorrect it could possibly result in login / cookie expiration issues. That is not the case here.

Are you somehow using both the Incredible (Apache http basic-auth) login and the FreePBX session-based login?

Only takes a few minutes to build a new server on VirtualBox. Please try that and see if you get the same results.

I don't believe so.

I just followed these bullet points for setting up the server, updating passwords, setting time zone, etc. on the virtual box.

http://pbxinaflash.com/community/threads/default-password-for-web-gui-piaf.17825/

Then I navigate to local IP of the PBX where I am prompted for the username and password as illustrated in the above screenshots.

----

Note that I chose the same password for all of the prompts in the bullet points above.

[Fixed]

I reinstalled the ova file in VirtualBox and no longer have the issue.

------

Possible Cause:

The first time I installed I didn't have the "Network" option set up in VirtualBox. I completed that section *after* the installation. This may have resulted in the problem. The only thing I did differently for the successful installation is insure that the "Network" option was set to the "Bridged Adapter."

Thanks for the help!

You forgot to mention that tidbit. ;) That's a critical step with VirtualBox. Glad it's working now.
