PBX in a Flash
FreePBX 2.8.1.5 o
CentOS release 6.2 (Final)
2.6.32-220.17.1.el6.i686 (SMP) i686

- using stock system, no customization to any scripts other then whats required to make it work.
- phones are all using SIP
- SIP enable phones and softphones being used
- incoming calls connect to, 2 x Digium AEX410 4 port analog cards

Issue:
- incoming calls to sip enabled phones and softphones are very quiet on BOTH ends
- outgoing calls from sip enabled phones and softphones are very quiet on BOTH ends
- incoming calls that transfer to a CELL phone via cell # are very quiet on both ends

I am looking for a resolution to the above issues......help would be GREATLY appreciated.

you dont' say what version you're using of Asterisk, so I can't tell you exactly what to do, but the setting you need is rxgain and txgain and it goes in zapata.conf or chan_dahdi.conf I believe.
