Hi,

I had a client use our IVR today using their "land line" and a cell phone and they reported that the DTMF wasn't picked up properly.

We've been using Vitelity for incoming for a long time. The PBX server is a recent upgrade 15-16.

This is what the trunk settings look like. Are there any tweaks that would help here?

type=friend
dtmfmode=auto
context=from-trunk ; (this could be ext-did or from-pstn as well)
insecure=port,invite
allow=all
canreinvite=no
host=inbound28.vitelity.net

Try dtmfmode=inband and be sure your codecs are set for g711 (ulaw). For inbound calls, dtmfmode=auto can be problematic for some. Try this:

Code:
type=friend
dtmfmode=inband
context=from-trunk ; (this could be ext-did or from-pstn as well)
insecure=port,invite
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
canreinvite=no
host=inbound28.vitelity.net
