Followed these steps for a new install on Centos 6.7. http://nerdvittles.com/?p=16791. Why is it that Hylafax and avantfax icon do not appear up or on the Web gui?

Yes, and it doesn't seem to run correctly. It never asks for the default setup items. i.e. country code, area code, etc. It seems like the script doesn't work. Just out of curiosity, what is the best set of directions to follow for a wable install?
