NO JOY google voice error motif

not sure if this is the right place to post; I tried installing wazo, followed all the tutorials... tried from scratch twice, followed the tutorials to the letter. I'm getting an error:

[Feb 4 16:49:13] WARNING[9000][C-00000009] app_dial.c: Unable to create channel of type 'Motif' (cause 66 - Channel not implemented)

I can't receive or make any calls.
