On a relatively fresh install of PIAF-Green 2.0.6.4 using Vitelity as a virtual server host (PROXMOX), I keep getting the following error message at various points of the system configuration:

FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.32-042stab084.14/modules.dep: No such file or directory

Of course, this is because the path does not exist, so why does PIAF keep trying to do things that are pointing to a set of modules that are not there?

I am not a Linux expert, but it appears that it is getting that path based off of the kernal:

Code:
output of uname -a
Linux servername.local 2.6.32-042stab084.14 #1 SMP Mon Dec 16 18:16:56 MSK 2013 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
However, there is only /lib/modules/2.6.32-358.6.2.el6.i686 on the system. Is this a VPS build issue? If so, what are your thoughts to get it corrected?

1. We use proxmox developing PIAF (version 1.8 only)
2. We install PIAF on proxmox via the ISO and use the kernel that comes with the ISO (Works great)
3. Just did an install last night and no modified kernel was installed. Not sure how you got that perhaps you could elaborate.
4. Are you using a prebuilt image of a piaf system and not installing from scratch?
5. Can't quite remember if we are still supporting the proxmox pre built virtual machine or not. It seems to me it has gone the way of the dinosaur but it is possible I am wrong
6. This issue does not appear on any virtual machine built from the ISO under proxmox (1.8), XEN, VMware workstation, ESXI, or virtualbox in our lab.
7. My guess is it is something that has happened to your install and we have no idea how this happened.

Provide some more info along with a copy of the output from status and we will see if we can ferret out your problem
