I have installed everything per the instructions. However, I cannot join a conference. I have setup a conference as follows

join message: dir-info
leader wait: yes
quiet mode: yes
usercount : yes
user join/leave: yes
music on hold : yes
allow menu: yes

but when I dial the phone all it does is hangup.

I have installed ztdummy and looking at zttool it is configured properly.

This is what I see from the CLI

Hi

With the options you have set, have you set both a user pin and an admin pin.

If you have, have you checked that your extension and your phone are using the same DTMF settings.

I have.. but I don't even get that far. The phone just answers -- no audio prompt...and then hangs up

thebdot - I too have just setup a conference # and have a minor problem to sort out --- but for the VOICE prompts I believe you need to load/install the asterisk additional sounds. Search this forum someone had posted the digium link to the dl server for the .gz file ....

--Ah here was my problem ( I bet your's too & additional sound for the voice prompts) even though I had ran genzaptelconf when I first installed ...I had to run it again... check the well written dox @ http://www.pbxinaflash.net/InstallPBXInAFlash.pdf and THANKS TOM for good instructions :)

That was exactly it. Not sure why I'd have to rerun zaptel again but thanks.
