We've just published an all-new tutorial for Incredible PBX 13-13.10 on the Raspberry Pi platform. If you're just getting started with VoIP, this 21-page article pretty much covers the entire landscape.

We welcome old-timers to chime in with topics we may have missed.

Considering the likely Pi user, addressing dynamic IP support would probably be worthwhile.

@jerrm: Very good point. In fact, we've been working on a way to keep your external IP address updated with FreePBX and Asterisk. My thought is to run a cron job about once an hour. Keeping this IP address current seems to be the missing piece in the current FreePBX setup. And it's the cause of almost all the calls with missing audio. update-externip.tar.gz available here.

CAUTION: The external IP address MUST be set once in FreePBX before using this script:

Settings -> SIP Settings -> Detect Network Settings -> Submit -> Apply Config

Shouldn't res_stun_monitor handle this? Has anyone done any testing to see if it actually works?
