Hi,

Did a forum search but couldn't find this...

Running PBXIAF 2.0.6.2 on hardware with kernel 2.6.32-220.2.1.el6.i686 - 32 Bit

There is a bug in the kernel which can cause issues - see
http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=5371

It has supposedly been fixed in kernel 220.4.1.el6

Is there anyway to upgrade the current kernel? How?

Thanks

run through update-programs then update-source and let it update the kernel. It will work just fine.

Thanks for the quick response Tom - didn't realise that update sources would update the kernel as well.

I do receive this error though it does not appear to have any affect as the upgrade did happen.

Now processing kernel upgrade if applicable
Now upgrading kernel
sed: can't read CentOS-Base.repo: No such file or directory

update-source didn't restart dahdi after it finished. update-source should be fixed shortly.

Until we get it fixed...

Code:
cd /usr/src/dahdi
make all
make install
service dahdi start
reboot

Then you get this (which should address the kernel bug)...
