NO JOY Busy signal on inbound voip.ms

@Nick Galea I am testing voip.ms as a trunk
Outbound calls work fine, getting busy on inbound

Another sip provider working fine in and outbound

I have a feeling the sip headers may be different for voip.ms

I see a section inside the trunk for "inbound parameters"

any direction on what to try or how to troubleshoot

i did two things and now works:

in settings:parameters

in sec_Ignore_user_agent I removed voip

I also re-registered the trunk without the subaccount underscore

Your issue and solution was to to remove "voip" from in sec_Ignore_user_agent.

Essentially, 3CX recently (V15 SP4) changed the default auto block anti-hack protection list to block anything that included the word "voip"
Boggles the mind.

Voip.MS added a note in the INBOUND RULES section of their 3CX configuration wiki

The latest update of 3CX introduced a feature that might block Call Requests from Voip.ms. In order to solve this you need to go into 3CX, 3CX Management Console > Settings > Parameters > Customer Parameters tab, find "SEC_IGNORE_USER_AGENT" and remove "voip" from the Value Section. This only applies to 3CX V15 SP4.

In order to solve this you need to go into 3CX, 3CX Management Console > Settings > Parameters > Customer Parameters tab
Custom Parameters? They also need to update whole page from version 9!:eek:

outbound calls ok
no inbound calls "the number you have dialed is not in service"

Hello @islandtech

Do you see the call arriving in the PBX? Does it show up in the logs? Do you get an error in the activity log located on the dashboard?

doesn't look like it is leaving voip.ms
their setup examples are outdated
