I'm using a Raspberry Pi 3B (not +) to run Incedible PBX version 13-12.4. I've noticed Ward's post about the new version 13-13.10 (http://nerdvittles.com/?p=21255), and wondering how best to upgrade?

I tried:
I rebooted Pi, and allowed the "update at your own risk" scripts to run, then rebooted again.
pbxstatus still says:
"Incredible PBX 13-12.4 for Raspberry Pi 3"
"Asterisk 13.7.2 + Incredible GUI 12.0.39"
(etc)
When logging into admin panel it says:
"Incredible PBX 12.0.74 'Incredible GUI' "

Is it possible to get to the version 13.13-10 this way or does one have to completely reinstall from scratch?
If so, is it possible to copy the configuration over from version 13-12.4 to 13-13.10?

(On a related question, can SD cards be transferred from a Raspberry 3B, to a 3B+ without reinstalling IncrediblePBX?)

Be most grateful for any pointers.

13-12 means Asterisk 13 with FreePBX 12. 13-13 means Asterisk 13 with FreePBX 13. Because much of the database structure changed between FreePBX 12 and 13, cut-and-paste is the safest bet. Down the road, the Bulk Handler module in FreePBX 13 should make this easier.

Not without a little effort.

The IPBX install itself is fine, but you have to update to a newer kernel with rpi-update and install the appropriate drivers to support the 3B+ hardware.

See https://pbxinaflash.com/community/threads/raspberry-pi-3-b.22516/page-2#post-136196.

That will give a year old kernel+drivers, but will work with both 3B and 3B+. Same approach can be used for latest and greatest kernel, but I'll leave any more googling to you.

PS: Best to clone the card first!
