I have been using
Incredible PBX 4.11.4 for Raspbx
+ Asterisk
+ FreePBX 2.11.0.34
on a Beaglebone Black for two years in a low-usage working environment with Vitelity and GV. Had the power go out multiple times on this Raspbx and did not notice any issues with it rebooting and starting up automatically. I've stopped Asterisk gracefully otherwise.

Our office building turned off all outlet power for two days during the Christmas holiday and our network and Raspbx all needed to be rebooted when we came back in.

I started seeing this Fatal Error message for the first time instead of the FreePBX login page:

FATAL ERROR
DB Error: connect failed
Trace Back
/var/www/html/admin/libraries/db_connect.php:71 die_freepbx()
[0]: DB Error: connect failed

/var/www/html/admin/bootstrap.php:85 require_once()

/etc/freepbx.conf:9 require_once()
[0]: /var/www/html/admin/bootstrap.php

/var/www/html/admin/config.php:99 include_once()
[0]: /etc/freepbx.conf

Asterisk did not seem to start according to FreePBX System Status and I started looking into solutions.

Asterisk took about 25 mins to start on its own once today, while I have been manually commanding:
amportal start
When I do this, is this message normal?:

SETTING FILE PERMISSIONS
Permissions OK
Removing any dangling symlinks
Dangling symlinks removed

Now, @tm1000 and @wardmundy have asked for logs in other threads, and I took a look at mine...
!!! I was amazed at the number or warnings and errors - and here I thought my PBX was running like a well-oiled machine.

Is there sensitive info that I need to remove before posting this Asterisk log for review?
Any least invasive remedies and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your Asterisk database got corrupted. Best solution is to boot from a backup microSD card.

Thank you for your response.
I signed up with Vitelity through your site back when I started and appreciate what I've learned from you and your team from start to now.

I did image the SD card for a backup Raspbx, but I must have changed the FreePBX password at some point in the last two years.
Will these steps be safe?:
1. Unlock the FreePBX GUI as instructed here: http://wiki.freepbx.org/display/L1/amportal+commands
2. Restore any settings with the automatic 1st of the month backups(in this case, the one from Dec 1)
3. Verify that all is as intended and then backup new image to the old(original) SD card

My system is working without issue currently and I attached it to a UPS, so I have some time to make the optimal solution.

Are all those log entries for unknown extensions which are being denied outside entities that are trying to get into my PBX?
The PBX is behind a firewall but status is showing that IPtables is down.
Is there a health check type alert email that can be setup for intrusions?
