Hello,

Does anyone know if Anveo Direct is working with IncrediblePBX and what a working set-up looks like?

I'm considering using them for outbound calling but have noticed that Anveo Direct is not included in the IncrediblePBX Trunk template list. Researching set-up instructions brings up topics that mostly reference the included Anveo template in IPBX.

Thanks,

mark

Thanks Brian,

So, I gather Ward's 2013 blog post is still valid. I will proceed then.

The only difference is that you shouldn't need to create a custom trunk context. Format of the CID can be controlled on the Anveo side

Some routers don't require you to open those ports so it's not a universal requirement. Depends how smart the router is and the type of NAT being used. I use pfSense. Glad you got it working.

My test set-up is behind a Comcast (home) router/gateway in the DMZ of an $8 Tenda router with phones getting DHCP from the Tenda. Both Vitelity and IPcomms trunks work fine without the RTP port forwarding.

The system is going to be installed behind a Comcast business router. Per your observation about some routers not needing the forwarding I will check the Anveo (outbound only) trunk without forwarding first and post here for whom it may concern.

N.B. I'm not kidding about the $8 router, although it's $10 now. http://www.microcenter.com/product/449793/N300_Model_N301_Wireless_Router
