Someone just asked me about this today.
Is there a way (or does it exist) a feature that allows a customer that is on hold in the queue to type in their number, and they will get a call back automatically when it is their turn?

Thanks

I've asked about this before. I don't think it exists but it would be great if it did. I've used this a lot in Contact Centre systems like Aastra's Solidus eCare suite. It is entirely possible in Asterisk but just needs someone with the will and expertise (a little beyond me) to get on and do it. Maybe we could get together and sponsor such a development.
