Yep, ping and nslookup get valid results. Did you have to add the fqdn to iptables? I tried to do that via add-fqdn and editing iptables manually. Is it necessary ?

Trimline, That was actually a typo in my post, the registration config is correct (but still not working, it times out from PIAF). I do know that OBIVoice account works as I used their softphone application on my WiFI network (same network as my PBX) so I'm also sure that my router is...

Thanks for the reply but still not registering :-( I noticed in the original post that the Outgoing CallerID and Registration String are 11 digits, mine are 10 digits. Is that causing registration to fail ? Andy

Here is a couple of screenshots of my x-lite config. I guess we need to start eliminating, did you try another SIP client ? That might tell us if it's a x-lite or laptop issue or a PIAF/FreePBX config issue.

Is mysql showing as "Running" on the main status screen ? Can you run the mysql command to extract the "secret" code for the extension ?

I don't have a sniffer but I'm not sure if that SIP Register string is correct. Maybe it should read sip:[email protected] ? I wonder if adding "701" to the Display Name field might pass that extra info through ?

Did you try entering 701 in the "Authorization Name" field ?

I ran the gvoice command per the recommendation and lo and behold it all works now. Thanks guys !

Pretty sure I went through the steps line for line but am getting the "please wait while i try to connect your call" message then a hangup after about 30 seconds. Anyone else having the same problem ? I have tried the amportal restart and /root/jab sequence to no avail
