@atsak Maybe you could use grep to search through /etc/asterisk for the string "[email protected]" and see which file it is in. Start in /etc/asterisk or even /etc... grep -R "[email protected]" -i * EDIT: had to remove mailto: that got added... :/

@atsak Check /etc/asterisk/voicemail.conf, look for the line: serveremail= I'd run into this same thing a long time ago. I believe this is where I changed it to show what I wanted. I remember having to set it manually and not in the GUI.

Same here. Started with Red Hat 4.2 in July 1997, if I remember correctly. Went to using Linux (first Red Hat, then Fedora; now Debian) full time in late 1999. Haven't looked back.

@phirephoto As @KNERD states, I might have some old firmware for that model. I'll have to check. It sounds like you're already in it, but there is a firmware recovery feature that the Aastras had, as well. So, I doubt it's completely bricked. Let me see what I have and I'll be back in a bit...
