Havent tried, I meant to configure a cisco 800 series router to take over the ipcop's job for a few days but I gave up trying to get the cisco configured and I ran out of time.....forgot, did not have enough motivation to configure a cisco 800 series router again, maybe i should try this again.

well in short, Asterisk is now in its thirties, perhaps closer to forties in age. Freeswitch, is just getting into the teen years....long ways to go Freepbx v3 is going to help it big time I think. just my $0.02

Can the endpoint manager, "glean" thru the dhcp lease file and build a list of plugged in phones but unconfigured yet? i think this module has a lot of great potential to contribute to freepbx and piaf of course in making the integrators lives a lot easier. if someone had 80 phones, lets say...

I am running piaf 1.3 Centos 5.2 asterisk 1.4.21.2 iptables turned off this is not a busy box, about 7 sip extension, 2 iax trunks, 2 sip trunks, 1 zap ...nothing fancy. every 3 to 4 days, the iax and sip trunks will not register, restarting amp doesnt help, a full reboot does.
