Fixed: FreePBX warnings for Op Panel and SSH Server

Hi Jeff, I added pbx.local back in, yet I still received the warning. It turned out that I must have been a little extra excited using the enter key, and put out of the host entries for the loopback on a separate line. :rolleyes5: Thanks for the help all. Happy holidays!

Fixed: FreePBX warnings for Op Panel and SSH Server

tm100 and hat, thank you very much for your replies. I did refresh the page several times, rebooted the server, and ran update-scripts and update-fixes, with no avail. hat, I did edit my hosts file recently to add my pbx to my local (internal) domain. I replaced the pbx.local with the...

Fixed: FreePBX warnings for Op Panel and SSH Server

Hi All, I recently logged into FreePBX to update some inbound/outbound routes, and noticed that I have yellow warnings for both the Op Panel and the SSH server. I tried clicking on both warnings, but nothing came up; rather, the browser scrolled the page back up to the top. Any ideas on how to...

    Configuring Fax through Inbound Route

Hi Everyone, I am attempting to set up Fax via Ward's tutorial on Best of Nerd Vittles. While going through I've been going through the syntax to try understand what's going on (i'm a complete noob, forgive me). I got up to here when an alarm went off in my head: " Then add a new...

    Voip.MS setup

I was having trouble keeping sip registration with voip.ms. I reinstalled Piaf and it worked out of the box. Calls are crystal clear and haven't had the trunk registration drop at all since the install. Really happy and am now seriously considering porting my home number to their service.

Trunks don't show up in Asterisk CLI

So I gave up and reformatted my box with Piaf 1.4 and installed the new orgasmatron script from NerdVittles. After that, I set up the sip trunk with identical settings posted above and it hasn't failed for over a couple of hours! That's way better than the ten minute failures I was receiving...

    One Extension, Multiple Voicemail boxes

Hey Everyone, I currently have a single extension in the house for my family. If I would like to set up separate voicemail for the three of us, how would I do so? I was thinking to setup two more extensions and just use the voicemail boxes associated with those extensions. Is this a proper...

Trunks don't show up in Asterisk CLI

I am following the settings provided by voip.ms. I am using a register string in the format username:[email protected]:5060 which was provided. From http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+sip+canreinvite canreinvite = yes "allow RTP media direct" canreinvite = no "deny re-invites"...

Trunks don't show up in Asterisk CLI

Hi Everyone, I am currently experimenting with VoIP.ms' service, and I'm having a rather weird problem. I spoke with their tech support, and they say it is a Asterisk issue. When I reload my config in FreePBX, my voip.ms trunk does not show up in 'sip show peers' (even though all other trunks...

    I sound like a robot

During my googling I came across the following: http://www.debianhelp.co.uk/asterisk.htm "IVR Audio problems (kind of robotic voice) on TDM400P PSTN channels with Debian 3.1/Etch (testing) on Intel P4 based cpu/s Since kernel 2.6 uses an internal timer, this could be related...

    I sound like a robot

I am having a somewhat similar problem, although I am not using a Sangoma or an Aastra. I'm using a SPA3102 hooked up to my corded/cordless phones around the house. Every now and then when someone dials in (via pstn) and are greeted by the IVR, a few words get 'robotized', and the change happens...

    SPA3102 Setup Help

MGD4Me, Believe me when I say that I have made a sketch of my understanding of the circuit. Having spent four hours non stop tonight in troubleshooting, I am not sure what I am doing wrong. A recap of what I did. Opened my NID outside the house. There are four terminals (two pairs) in there...

MGD4Me, Thank you very much for your detailed answer. I have opened up my Bell Canada telephone box outside my house and have found that only one line is connected (red & green). Gave it a shot and tried an inbound call, that doesn't work. SPA3102 Setup Help

Solution! This is a bit counter intuitive. I turned off *all* port forwarding related to SIP ports, and inbound and outbound work. perfectly. It seem's D-Link's ALG automatically does the grunt work of getting SIP to work with NAT. Receiving crystal clear audio both ways through VoIPBuster.

Same situation, but I have a question Hi everyone, Still at war with getting my outbound voip trunk to work (no audio either way). I have a question for those of you using DLink Gaming Routers (which I believe I read on NerdVittles work great with VoIP). Do your external sip trunks register...
