    try turning iptables off and then playing with your phone. It will help. If i turn iptables on, my 7940 will no longer register

    I've tried testing inbound faxing, and with the SIP detection it doesn't really work, it eventually drops to my call group, i then transfer it to the extension, and it detects the fax and receives. So far it received 5/5 faxes. You need asterisk 1.6.2 to get SIP faxing working

    Could just do remote extensions, you'd need to open port 5060 and make sure you read the security thread before doing so.
