TIPS Monitoring uptime - how use Zabbix or other open source option on Incredible PBX

Well that kinda sucks. Was hoping to track and chart my ISP disruptions (which they are denying to fix)

TIPS Monitoring uptime - how use Zabbix or other open source option on Incredible PBX

Looking to set up a Browser accessible service on my IPBX so I can track and monitor ISP uptime and performance issues. Followed the basic instructions for installing on RASPi afterwards the http://localIP/zappix access was a 404. Has anyone had experience with this and what is required to get...

SOLVED Newly installed phone gets phantom ringing from "100 Cisco"

Firmware successfully installed. Unpacked the bin file from Grandstream's ZIP and using WinSCP's SFTP moved it to a newly created /var/www/html/GrandstreamFW folder. Updated the phone's firmware path to above and two phone reboots later, presto - like a whole new phone! Thanks all

SOLVED Newly installed phone gets phantom ringing from "100 Cisco"

Aha! Supporse I should have kept scrolling and scrolling down to the EOL section LOL. Now to get it into the phone I need to load the file somewhere in Apache's repo on my system. Tips to make that work? Please and thanks. a) what to put here. (assume my IPBX is on 192.168.x.x) b) where...

SOLVED Newly installed phone gets phantom ringing from "100 Cisco"

Hmmm, I must be blind. Don't see anything there specifically for the GXP2100 - see GXP21XX and the 30 50 60 etc are more advanced and newer but then again I don't want to brick these old gals...

SOLVED Newly installed phone gets phantom ringing from "100 Cisco"

Don't have and updated firmware that looks like this. I have opened a ticket with Grandstream to see if there is anything newer can use for my (still new in box) old GXP2100's. There is some indication that is may be possible to upgrade to from 1.0.3.30 (that I have) by doing intermediate...

SOLVED Newly installed phone gets phantom ringing from "100 Cisco"

There are settings in the phone's webGUI about if and when it tries to download firmware updates. Seeing at this juncture there are likely no more (good/valid) updates for the GXP2100 phone, perhaps shutting down this function will stop it from trying to reach the "mothership"?

SOLVED Newly installed phone gets phantom ringing from "100 Cisco"

I fid find that the default install settings for SIP SETTINGS had "Allow SIP Guests" set to YES. Will try setting to NO and see what happens (or hopefully doesn't. Odd though that with no router firewall holes set (incomplete install and no trunks assigned) that something would be sending a...

SOLVED Newly installed phone gets phantom ringing from "100 Cisco"

New install of 2022 Rasp Pi on a model 3. My first "701" phone, a Grandstream GXP2100 I had kicking around hooked up fine, could initialise Comedian mailbox and call Lenny just fine but in the middle of the night I am getting phantom ringing from "100 Cisco". The new system is still in my...

TRY THIS RasPi - No eth0 and PortKnocker down

Seems I have to do a "service knockd restart" now before the pbxstatus will go green. Not on this thread but will start another, my first "701" phone, a Grandstream GXP2100 I had kicking around hooked up fine, could initialise Comedian mailbox and call Lenny just fine but in the middle of the...

TRY THIS RasPi - No eth0 and PortKnocker down

Thank you! Will this still function when Raspian Buster goes to Bullseye? I reverted the /etc/default/knockd file back to eth0 from the "new system uses names based on hardware location, like eno0, enp0s31f6, wlp1s7 (or in the case of USB dongles, MAC address: enx2c56ac39ec0d)." Now just...

TRY THIS RasPi - No eth0 and PortKnocker down

Don't know if this will do it but for knockd down issue I patched the file similarly to this instruction: sed -i 's|eth0|wlan0|' /etc/default/knockd service knockd restart instead of wlan0 I put "enxb927ebafc7a5" to match the hardware. I should mention that PBXSTATUS was only showing Port...

TRY THIS RasPi - No eth0 and PortKnocker down

Addendum: Just came across this on: https://wiki.debian.org/NetworkConfiguration#Network_Interface_Names which sheds some light on the why my eth0 is not eth0. Network Interface Names See NetworkInterfaceNames. Since Stretch, new systems by default no longer use old-style interface names such...

Just did a fresh install from download off Sourceforge. Followed the instructions from: http://nerdvittles.com/introducing-incredible-pbx-2022-for-the-raspberry-pi/ Did not seem to go well. PBXSTATUS shows UCP Dmon: DN and PortKnock: DN Noticed several fails during the boot up indicating eth0...
