For anyone who is running into this problem, the best choice was switching away from Nextiva. They are blocking what is needed to get this working.

Is there any resolution on this for RHEL based systems? I've encountered nothing but problems with this Ubuntu installation since it was put into place. I saw something from @wardmundy on another post that stated this was only affecting RHEL based systems.

I was able to get the system working again by restoring a backup I had available to an Ubuntu installation. Not my desired resolution, but the system is back up and working, that's all that's important at the moment. Thanks for everyone's assistance.

True but by default. IPBX does not assign an extension number to each of the IAX modems. So until now it wasn't really clear how to accomplish. I guess this does answer another post I have here on the forum about making sure fax can only be sent on a specific modem.

Routing is to prevent any one group from seeing another's faxes. In AvantFax, you can specify the modems available to a specific group or user. It's more of an organizational thing than a privacy thing, but I'm looking to make it so that if a user from Group 1 logs in, they're only seeing faxes...
