    NEW Free Oracle Cloud Instance

Are you using a VPN? If yes, try accessing that site directly (turn it off altogether). Once the account is setup the VPN works.

    NEW Free Oracle Cloud Instance

I have a micro instance (x64) running on a Debian image (as described above) for a while now. No issues whatsoever. Be prepared for the installation to take roughly the time it takes on a Pi3. After that it's alright. Also, 3CX runs well in a micro instance with Debian (in totally unsupported...

    NEW Free Oracle Cloud Instance

    - on the OCI console create a bucket (Storage -> Buckets) and upload the .qcow2 image to it - create a custom OCI image based on the qcow2 (compute -> custom images -> import from bucket) - launch an instance based on the custom image (from the custom image menu choose create instance) - on the...

    NEW Free Oracle Cloud Instance

Since Ubuntu is not supported anymore, my question is what does it take to have IncrediblePBX run on Debian 10 on Ampere (arm64)? Here is a perfectly fine running instance of Debian 10 on Ampere: root@instance-20211011-1828:~ $ hostnamectl Static hostname: instance-20211011-1828...

FOOD FOR THOUGHT Basic SMS forwarding script for BulkVS DIDs

Unfortunately that's the way to keep Avantfax in the picture. Perhaps 'best of both worlds' does not apply in this case... Alternatives?

FOOD FOR THOUGHT Basic SMS forwarding script for BulkVS DIDs

@Halea, thanks for sharing the SMS scripts - quite useful. I'm successfully using the SMS forward to email one. However the SMS forward to phone number stops after this stage: The PBX is fully functional and runs on Debian 10 based on the official install document. My observation is that the...

    NEWS FLASH PANIC Button

If just a fraction of these beautiful minds and related energies would be dedicated to address the cause rather than the effect we would live in different world. PS we do live in a different world (uncertain though if for that very reason...)

    SOLVED Shutdown RasPi by Phone

Well, indeed, no need for tools at all (hammers, loupes etc.) As for the post-mortem part I would do just what the phrase stands for...

    SOLVED Shutdown RasPi by Phone

That's an interesting topic! With all the good will and optimism going on these days (well, for many/some of us) there still are security breaches of sorts. I believe that having access to the PBX is important, both locally and remotely (VPN, SSH, whatever etc.) The obvious (while not only)...

TRY THIS Configuring SendMail with Incredible PBX 16-15

During the back-and-forth of the last hour or so I just started a new Vultr install. It all worked as expected - I then started the sendmail configuration. Here is the outcome (the instance runs on Vultr in Toronto) root@vultr:/etc/mail $ hostname -f > genericsdomain WARNING: Always run...

TRY THIS Configuring SendMail with Incredible PBX 16-15

@AndyInNYC - I have not been able to have sendmail work properly (i.e. configured as per the provided script) so far. I raised the issue a number of times in this forum, as some other users had the same issue (search this thread for makemap.) Just run makemap.sendmail instead and it will work...

NEW Incredible 16-15.2 for CentOS 7

Here are two (empirical) observations on the topic above: 1. A fully functional system running for several months on CentOS 7.6 (updated from a 7.0 image through the script) gracefully took the yum -y update and it now reveals itself as CentOS Linux release 7.7.1908 (Core) 2. A newly installed...

NEW Incredible 16-15.2 for CentOS 7

...and BTW the Hosting73 issues I had the other day (same as @kenn10) where df -h reports 11GB used out of 25GB with 0GB free are now gone. The system is stable (as it was over the past several months) and the free space is correctly reported. A hick-up of sorts, I guess... My previous post was...

NEW Incredible 16-15.2 for CentOS 7

I tried installing 16-15.2 on a WelcomeHosting KVM - without an OS update, with full update and --exclude=system* update (each on a fresh CentOS 7 image.) The 2 types of update fail at different stages - I opened a ticket with them re CentOS image update failure. No answer so far. Trying to...

NEW Incredible 16-15.2 for CentOS 7

I just installed a new 16-15.2 system on CentOS 7. It came up with exactly the same issue I described in post #210. I then added a couple of sleep commands and /usr/bin/fwconsole restart and iptables-restart at the end of /etc/rc.local. Everyrhing loads alright now after reboot. I the restored...

NEW Incredible 16-15.2 for CentOS 7

@kenn10 exactly the same behavior on my VPS with Hosting73. In use 9.7GB (out of 25GB) and it showed drive full 100%. Then I checked, and the journaling files would take up over 10GB. PBX functional, but no web access. I deleted a couple of backups, and then in a couple of hours everything went...

Nope, that still doesn't do anything. I'll wait another few days; maybe some repositories, links or similar are broken from the New York Colo. Thank you!
