SOLVED Pressing 0 during voicemail returns a useless IVR

I finally got this figured out. In order for the caller to be able to press 0 during the voicemail process, and be returned to a functional IVR, I had to set "Return" to NO under all of the IVR entries.

SOLVED Pressing 0 during voicemail returns a useless IVR

Dicko, are you sure you are understanding my question? I have made sure that my: Settings > Voicemail Admin > Dialplan Behavior > Operator Extension field is empty Under my test Extension under Voicemail > VmX Locator section, "Press 0" is set to 7007 and "Go to Operator" in unchecked. 7007...

SOLVED Pressing 0 during voicemail returns a useless IVR

Why would the 'o' (operator) extension in comedian mail send the call to '0'? Is that default behavior in Incrediblepbx 2021 (or the version of FreePBX it's based on)? Is this something that really needs to be changed/checked in the underlying asterisk system, or can it be done through the GUI?

SOLVED Pressing 0 during voicemail returns a useless IVR

I want the caller to be able to interact with the IVR after being returned to it from the voicemail system (due to the caller pressing 0.) Could you help me understand your response better?

SOLVED Pressing 0 during voicemail returns a useless IVR

I do not have 0 defined in the IVR. The scenario I'm talking about is after the caller hits an extension from IVR, it rings, then goes to voicemail, and then the caller presses 0.

SOLVED Pressing 0 during voicemail returns a useless IVR

Hello, When a caller calls in, they get an IVR with options 1-5 to get different extensions. The caller will press, 5, it starting ringing extension for option 5. When the voicemail picks up, the caller can press 0. This returns to the IVR, but the IVR will not respond to any of the options...

    SOLVED Updated OpenVPN Tutorial

just for my own future sanity: If you are wanting to autorun the openVPN client on CentOS 6 (iPBX1313) then two things need to happen: 1. Name the client config file correctly. The openVPN client configuration script will create files named *.ovpn, but the startup service expects them to be...

    SOLVED Updated OpenVPN Tutorial

SOLVED! So there was this line in the /usr/lib/systemd/system/[email protected] file that called the config with: ExecStart=/usr/sbin/openvpn --cd /etc/openvpn/ --config %i.conf I manually changed it to: ExecStart=/usr/sbin/openvpn --cd /etc/openvpn/ --config server.conf and all is well now it...

    SOLVED Updated OpenVPN Tutorial

I followed the tutorial from the Nerd Vittles site using a fresh CentOS 7 VM. When the openVPN server tries to start via the normal process, it cannot bind to port 1194 because it is already in use: Aug 12 10:34:19 openvpn.server openvpn[971]: Wed Aug 12 10:34:19 2020 /sbin/ip addr add dev tun1...

FOOD FOR THOUGHT New SIP client for Android

Is there any way you can add an option to integrate the call log with the native android call log? I use SIP for incoming calls, but I still use the native android dialer to make outgoing calls. Having (an option to display) the incoming/missed numbers that called via SIP show up in the native...

    NEW SPAM Phone Call Blocker

If I wanted to bypass the "Press 5 to connect" and just add the caller id info for calls that are not already in the Asterisk Phonebook, what would I change in the "sub-log-caller" routine in custom_extension.conf file? This is what I've tried, and although it does skip the "press 5 to...

QUESTION Scheduled Reboot on IncrediblePBX 13-13 Raspberry Pi

I believe when I execute the 'reboot' command normally, is it running the file here: /usr/local/sbin/reboot? It's content is #!/bin/bash fwconsole stop /etc/init.d/mysql stop /etc/init.d/apache2 stop shutdown -r now That particular file is the one I'd like to execute via cron to reboot the...

QUESTION Scheduled Reboot on IncrediblePBX 13-13 Raspberry Pi

So I'd like my pbx to restart every night at 4am by calling /usr/local/sbin/reboot via cron As a test, I've set it up to reboot at 1:49pm. I use crontab to add the following line: 49 13 * * * /bin/bash /usr/local/sbin/reboot at 1:49pm nothing happens. Any pointers?

    SOLVED park-return-routing change timeout

You are understanding what I'm asking. I just triple checked, my default ring time and extension ring time are both set to 30 seconds (and do ring for that amount of time during normal conditions.) Unfortunately, no matter how long I set the ring time for, the "origin ring back" time is always...
