TIPS Suddenly could not log in to ipbx admin. Now navigating admin section is weird.

You've got it backwards, the older has a problem (the PBX works but no the UI). The newer system is freshly configured as a "model" to diff against and eventually probably I'll have to migrate to it (or another new install) If this is really that dangerous I feel like this should be said more...

    SOLVED Aastra firmware

It's not actually zipped, just rename/remove the extension.

TIPS Suddenly could not log in to ipbx admin. Now navigating admin section is weird.

Well, I've asked on multiple occasions for how process/procedure on how to properly update. This is the wisdom shared by the forum (I'd have to go back to be certain but I believe you may have contributed some of that.) When it was given it was not given with caveats. Perhaps you can...

TIPS Suddenly could not log in to ipbx admin. Now navigating admin section is weird.

Really really radical and obscure ones. Stuff that should most asuredly and beyond a shadow of a doubt bork selective parts of the system when feisty noobs try to keep their internet exposed VPSs relatively up to date on patches. Audacious things like apt-get update and a few other lines...

Is this applicable to IPBX as well (or is there an equivalent?)

    SOLVED Aastra firmware

In case it's wanted, I am upping what looks to be v3.3.1.4358 for Aastra 6731. I still have one or two of these around and I believe that's the firmware I'm using on it w/ IPBX. There's a few files in this dir incl. the Admin guide and what looks like another firmware file with a bunch of .st...

TIPS Suddenly could not log in to ipbx admin. Now navigating admin section is weird.

This monster struck again. About 3 months ago I had this exact same scenario repeat itself. This time on 2021. I do not know what triggers this issue. If I had to guess I'd say something in the way I'm doing updates to the system but that's just an outside wild guess. I have taken your...

    TIPS Cellular.everything

WRT over ROS? That's an interesting position. I'd love to hear why (take it to pm or another thread if you feel like we're gonna hijack). As for the Quectel, You're in the US? Did you use the EC25 or EG25-G? and I'm assuming this was wtih Fi or was it another provider? Thx.

    TIPS Cellular.everything

Wrt Fi, your point works if I need many sims. Then it becomes more economical. I need one, so therein lies the rub for me. I didn't know the ZTE can run openwrt - that could be a plus. On the other hand, it's for a client so rock solid is more important than gadgets on this one. In comp, a...

    TIPS Cellular.everything

I thought abotu Fi but for 1 line it's $50/mo vs. Visible only costs $25. I expect it shouldn't be a problem but I've heard some phone sims won't work in data only devices (like an mFi, etc.) Thanks for teh rec on the ZTE. Smth like that would work great. As this is for a client tho, I...

    TIPS Cellular.everything

Has anyone used a visible sim as a data sim for a router? (or do they have a data sim plan I couldn't find?) What equip did you use and how was your experience with it? I need internet hotspot for a backyard for the summer via cellular. Thx.

TIPS CEL and CDR calls are an hour behind?

Hey all. I just noticed in both the UCP interface and also Admin ui that my call logs are all off by an hour. I'm assuming this is DST related but when I check `hwclock` and `date` both return the same (and dst correct) date and time. On Vultr vps, Debian 10, PBX 2021 pub. thx. EDIT to add...

    ALERT FreePBX ARI Exploit

Note Ward's comment in post #30 is for those *not* using IPBX. By default IPBX supposedly doesn't open these ports. You can check by running a netstat at cli and checking for ports 8088 and 8089 listening or otherwise open.
