FYI Incredible PBX 12.0.74 may use deprecated OpenCNAM API

Talked to a very helpful guy at OpenCNAM who put me on a different track altogether. Rather than complicate things by haveing a disconnect between the GUI and the config files we simply whitelisted my server's IPv4 address in OpenCNAM and made a super simple custom HTTPS query with the existing...

FYI Incredible PBX 12.0.74 may use deprecated OpenCNAM API

I think one has to define the whole context to be replaced. I am not sure a single line replacement in extensions_override_freepbx.conf will work. I will test it later and report back. I tried to get a newer version of the module and it appears the version we have was the last GPL version of...

FYI Incredible PBX 12.0.74 may use deprecated OpenCNAM API

Incredible PBX 12.0.74 on CentOS Linux release 7.3.1611 with Asterisk 13.13.1. OpenCNAM wasn't working for me. When using the GUI module to set up OpenCNAM I noticed it uses a deprecated API call. Example: Let's say my OpenCNAM SID is AAAAAAAAAA and my AuthToken is X0X0X0X0X0. If I enter this...

    TRY THIS Asterisk 13.12.2 Upgrade

Fixed it by manually upgrading by pretty much tracing along the upgrade script but using ./configure --with-pjproject-bundled instead of just ./configure when compiling asterisk and subsequently leaving out the manual PJSIP install. Somehow manual compile of PJSIP 2.3 or 2.5.5 resulted in...

    TRY THIS Asterisk 13.12.2 Upgrade

Update: No dice. Asterisk crashes, gets restarted, crashes. Meanwhile it fills up /tmp with core dumps. If i do amportal kill asterisk -U asterisk -G asterisk -d 99 -vvvvv I will see the same crash as before. My IPv6 theory didn't stick: [2017-01-12 02:15:09] DEBUG[26080]: config.c:2193...

    TRY THIS Asterisk 13.12.2 Upgrade

Added to /etc/sysctl.conf: net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1 net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1 Rebooted. Confirmed absence of IPv6. Re-ran. upgrade-asterisk13-to-current-rhel It failed now saying that it is only for Asterisk 13. But asterisk -V shows 13.3.1 I ended up commenting out...

    TRY THIS Asterisk 13.12.2 Upgrade

Asterisk keeps exiting and /tmp is filling with coredumps. In /var/log/asterisk/full I see it making reference to looking up IPV6 info, then crashing. It could be something new in PJSIP 2.5.5 that enabled IPv6 support that is not agreeing. This server is dual stack IPv4 and IPv6. I will disable...

    TRY THIS Asterisk 13.12.2 Upgrade

Asterisk 13.13.1 is now asterisk-latest. It doesn't seem to work with any version of the RHEL upgrade script on CentOS 7, 64 bit.

TUTORIAL NEWER Asterisk 13 Upgrade Scripts

With Asterisk 13.13.1 the script also compiles everything OK but asterisk then crashes. /src/pjsip/sip_endpoint.c:175: pjsip_endpt_register_module: Assertion `pj_list_search(&endpt->module_list, &mod->name, &cmp_mod_name)==((void *)0)' failed. Does anyone have a working script that can handle...

SOLVED CentOS7 incrediblepbx13-12.2-centos yum update breaks admin

Haha. Cool. Well it's all new to me coming from Vodia. And I have issues accessing nerdvittles.com on a big screen so I am still catching up on the docu. It's a bit fragmented for a newbie. Good people here though. I am a believer now :D

SOLVED CentOS7 incrediblepbx13-12.2-centos yum update breaks admin

yum offered me an update today that involved the following packages: After the update if I log into admin dashboard and select anything it takes me back to the previous screen and wants me to log in again. I tried a rollback of the udpates via yum history undo but this had no effect. Neither...

NEW CentOS7 services showing down: incrediblepbx13-12.2-centos

Just did a fresh install and there are still issues with the fire-walling and custom extensions. I will make new threads for these as this issue with status for fail2ban and asterisk showing down on CentOS7 seems to have been fixed :D

NEW CentOS7 services showing down: incrediblepbx13-12.2-centos

Oops.. I saw that the [name].iptables files were populated when I did add-fqdn so I assumed there would be a cron job running automatically. I can only see the nerdvittles.com content on my iPhone so it's a bit messy getting to the tutorials. I will test again now.

NEW CentOS7 services showing down: incrediblepbx13-12.2-centos

Step 1: /root/add-fqdn NV1 www.nerdvittles.com Step 2: cat /root/NV1.iptables It will contain the fqdn and the last resolved IP for it let's say that is 107.158.44.25 Step 3: iptables -nvL | grep 107.158.44.25 I would now expect to find a rule that involves 107.158.44.25. There is none.

NEW CentOS7 services showing down: incrediblepbx13-12.2-centos

Excellent! This works. But /root/add-fqdn is not having any effect. /root/add-ip works. Status is up (but claims I am CentOS 32 bit - I am 64 bit). So far, so good. I made a little pre-install script in Softlayer cloud that lets be bring this up unattended in 4 clicks. But the...

Yes she is up. But status says it is down and strangely if I do nmap -p 5060-5061 localhost it will say theres nothing listening on those ports. Running as user 'asterisk' Running under group 'asterisk' Connected to Asterisk 13.10.0 currently running on comm (pid = 1912)

Just did cd /usr/src/asterisk-13* make make install amportal restart No errors were shown. But then "status" shows asterisk down. Done a reboot, same story but hey we got ALL the other services green now and the /root/add-ip whitelisting sticks through reboots.

NEW CentOS7 services showing down: incrediblepbx13-12.2-centos

Yes Sir, I did. /root/add-ip seems to work now but the XXX.iptables files it places in /root/ are empty. Is that intentional? Some public IP addresses are still showing in the private IP section of status.
