TUTORIAL Don't fill up your drive - Purge your Voice Monitor files

So I was going through my email today and looking through my spam folder. I'm not sure who is using pbx.integratedprivate.com.au, but I saw a purge email come from your server for call recordings. It seems that in my haste in posting my script above, whoever took it from here forgot to replace...

SOLVED Reboot command missing from IncrediblePBX2020

I get the feeling this is a Pi-exclusive thing since you're running this off an SD card and things need to be shut down more gracefully.

    FYI FreePBX Mirrors Down

Will this affect new installs of 2020?

TIPS Assign outbound route to extension

If you need to dedicate a certain route to an extension, put the extension's number in the callerid field next to your pattern matches.

What's a good FXO sip ata these days?

I personally recommend the HandyTone series from GrandStream. Really good ATA, and it uses a random SIP port, so no port conflicts when registering externally.

@wardmundy what's changed? Is there an easy way to "update" my system?

NEW Incredible 16-15.2 for CentOS 7

    NEW Discord Community for YOU

The Discord isn't meant to replace the forums in any way. I just thought I'd do something for the community. For example, the Discord could be used in the event that the forums go down. As Ward has always said, "It's not a good idea to put all your eggs in one basket." Whatever you guys decide...

    NEW Discord Community for YOU

Okay, so just to get one thing out of the way: If a post like this does not belong in this forum, I apologize, and you're more than welcome to remove it. I've been thinking about doing something like this for a while, and I finally did it today. I bring you the UNOFFICIAL community Discord...

NEW Safely Deploy Asterisk on Internet

Line 217 has a typo. It should be "amportal restart" not "amportal restsrt" I haven't run the entire script, since I'm picking out bits and pieces to incorporate into my existing public setup. From looking at the script, everything else seems okay.

NEW Safely Deploy Asterisk on Internet

Would you consider bundling this installer with the main 13-13 tarball if this is a success? Might wanna warn the crap out of users first, that proceeding with said installer is at their own risk.

NEW Safely Deploy Asterisk on Internet

That's like changing the SSH port. It's security through obscurity.

QUESTION How to upgrade Asterisk on 13-13.10?

So I realize there might not be a reason to upgrade to every single new release of Asterisk. However, from a security standpoint for those of us with open systems, would it be possible to upgrade Asterisk? I remember back in the 13-12 days the server came bundled with an "upgrade asterisk to...

FOOD FOR THOUGHT Countries not being blocked?

Ah, that seems to have worked! So, seeing as my blockem script only runs on bootup, how often would you say that the ipdeny zones get updated? Perhaps I should consider running a cron job to keep the zones/ipsets up-to-date? Edit: Even with up-to-date zones, the IP block 77.234.46.0/24 (which...

FOOD FOR THOUGHT Countries not being blocked?

That's not exactly an option for me, as I would like to be able to allow inbound SIP calls via URIs using Ward's guide which can be found here I mean, your guide did say to place the country blocks at, or around line 93 in the file. I even downloaded the files your guide told me to download...
