FYI Knockd Issues with OpenVZ and Wable

One option for anyone using Wable (or, any OpenVZ container) who may need to only occasionally whitelist a new IP is to use their free console through their control panel. Even if your IP address has changed this should let you connect to your machine and update IPTables. This might not be...

R.I.P. Wable: Fun While It Lasted

I suppose my original question has been answered - there are indeed some "quirks" running a PBX on an OpenVZ powered virtual server. I think that this is important info so I have updated the original post with a few words of caution to anyone considering Wable (or, any OpenVZ platform) ...

R.I.P. Wable: Fun While It Lasted

So, I spun up another Wable Instance tonight and ran a fresh install. I was able to get everything working. Here are my steps: I installed the centos-6-x86_64-minimal distro: http://take.ms/9ajIz I enabled eth0. I don't know if this is required, but seems like it couldn't hurt...

R.I.P. Wable: Fun While It Lasted

I was having this problem with the early builds of the Incredible GUI but it was resolved in the build on June 4th. Steps to fix this are available here: http://pbxinaflash.com/community/index.php?threads/incredible-pbx-gui-bugs-fixes.17123/page-5#post-111026 (or, just run a fresh install)

Why can't you login? Are you seeing an error, or not even seeing the login page? FWIW: I used the "centos-6-x86_64-minimal" distribution and followed the guide here for the 12 gui: http://nerdvittles.com/?p=13599 I did have trouble with the Ubuntu and CentOS7 builds. It sounds like we followed...

Curious - Anyone put these machines to use for anything other than testing yet? Curious what environment you've configured and if you have any call quality experiences to share

Hmm, I don't see an option to do snapshots. I'm also in Dallas, so perhaps this is only available in New York or Seattle? I've done a few installs on different OS's and wanted to share my results. I'd be very curious to know if anyones had success where I haven't CentOS 6.5 x86_64 Minimal -...

R.I.P. Wable: Fun While It Lasted

Happy you guys got in on the deal! I've been tinkering for the past 24 hours and am very impressed. One potential concern regarding your ability to send and receive emails (for voicemail, etc) from their FAQ Question: Is SMTP Blocked? Answer: SMTP is only blocked on bundle #1 accounts on all...

    FYI Incredible PBX GUI Bugs/Fixes

Confirmed. To test this, I opened a terminal window and did "tail -f /var/log/maillog" and then: Create a new account and told the system to email me with the details - In the terminal window I was able to verify that the mail-log was updated Next, I configured an extension to send an email...

I thought so too, but its not. They should have designed this to be much more clear, however the deal isn't evident when you purchase the package. Here is what I did (worked last night at 11PM MT) Start off by clicking this link: https://wable.com/?powerboost=1 Select Bundle#3 or higher. I...

R.I.P. Wable: Fun While It Lasted

I came across a new(ish) VPS provider that I find to be very interesting. They are owned by Incero so I don't think they are going anywhere anytime soon. www.wable.com The most interesting thing about them is this promotion: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=1478426 For $8...

    FYI Incredible PBX GUI Bugs/Fixes

I can confirm that Blacklist Last Caller is not working. To test this I used my cell phone to call an incoming route configured to ring extension 701. After hanging up, I then dialed *32 from the softphone connected to extension 701. Allison read back my cell # and asked me to press 1 to...

TUTORIAL Viewing Call Stats: Packet Loss, MOS, Buffers and more

This would be a killer feature. With multiple users (and call routes, etc) there are many contributing factors to quality problems. Having a call stat log for each call (maybe over a configurable time range) would be a huge timesaver!
