I've done 3 different install attempts today and all have failed. The installs appear to work but then asterisk is not accessible or working. Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?) Anyone else experiencing this? I've tried with my mac and my windows...

What do you mean soft switch? I have a direct setup for each customer to call me. If they call my number it just goes directly to me through their system.

Reply to their email asking them to expedite it. If the numbers have been with voip.ms for any serious length of time, they will be at bandwidth.com and they can do those ports same day. Ask them to port asap and they will help. I've seen them do it same day for a number of clients.

I agree, it's easy to armchair it, but it's made even easier by them not providing any details of what they've done are doing. Granted they can't release everything but saying something other than "We're working on it" isn't helpful at all. It was poorly planned for and poorly handled.

Agreed. I do that now. I hate that voipms is having this issue but at the end of the day if the phone rings busy the customer is pissed and I look like I have no clue what I'm doing. Nothing I can do about that other than move to a different provider.

I was able to port some numbers out of voipms within minutes. And they didn't require proof of anything. Not sure if thats good or bad, but it worked for me. Everyone is back at 100% now.

Meanwhile, no chi pop is working, dallas is up and down, denver is up and down, atlanta drops packets constantly. But yea the portal is working well now.

All you have to do is a screen shot of your panel with the dids. It's not that complicated.
