hosted piaf and aastra xml scripts

Anybody offering a solution that already includes the Aastra scripts or do I just need to go with Lylix (no purple support but I've used them before) or vr.org (never used them but purple support)? I had an on site PBX I just installed and it was finally working after a bunch of bumps along the...

Aastra 6757i park lot doesn't work (park does)

I was unable to downgrade my firmware (the phones wouldn't accept older firmware), but was able to get what I needed to work by upgrading the Aastra XML scripts (which of course required updating PHP and a few other things). Then I had to edit the scripts to add back Asteridex and still allow...

How do I downgrade Aastra firmware?

I made the mistake of upgrading to 3.2.2.56 and have a number of issues (that may or may not be related), however it was recommended that I try downgrading the firmware to 2.x (I was going to use 2.6.0.2019). I put the firmware file in my tftpboot directory and I've also tried installing via...

Aastra 6757i park lot doesn't work (park does)

The latest 2.X is 6757i SIP (V2.6.0.2019 Patch, March 2011, zip) (English, 2.52 MB)I'll give that a shot.

Aastra 6757i park lot doesn't work (park does)

Thanks for the tip. I'm running the most recent firmware. Hopefully the phones will let me downgrade.

Aastra 6757i park lot doesn't work (park does)

and one more issue has reared its head today. The phone doesn't notify of voicemails. If you press the voicemail button, it will show the voicemails, but the indicator doesn't appear to be working. And once you select the voicemail, nothing happens.

Aastra 6757i park lot doesn't work (park does)

So I followed Ward's document about setting up the best PIAF phones in the world :) and for the most part everything is working nicely. The one issue I'm having an issue with is the parking lot. When I press park, the calling party hears music, the phone I pressed park on announces the line...

    Need recommendation: multiline wifi endpoints

You don't like the CT? I've never worked with one before, what didn't you like about it?

    Need recommendation: multiline wifi endpoints

Just met with the owner, she's elected to go with Aastra 57i (and one CT). Thanks for the help, it was a learning experience for me.

    Need recommendation: multiline wifi endpoints

Yeah the ATA thing is kind of a real PITA and doesn't give very good endpoint integration (I have some dual line Sipuras hanging around, but that's just a bad option all around). The Snoms MAY work.... I was thinking more of a desktop phone, but if a single phone will do multi-line it might...

    Need recommendation: multiline wifi endpoints

I have powerline adapters at home for my security cameras and am not at all impressed, the cameras lose connectivity far too often. But technically, I'm already using wireless for phones as the link between the two offices is wireless. There are only two phones at that remote location, and...

    Need recommendation: multiline wifi endpoints

Eesh, those Nortels would have been perfect if they were multi-line. They would still be great for the non-admin extensions, perhaps I can get away with only needing 2 multi-line wireless. I was just looking at the Cisco 525G2 this very second. I've spoiled them loaning them some Polycom...

    Need recommendation: multiline wifi endpoints

I was looking for some of those Nortels that were going really cheap last year but just realized they are single line (and not so cheap any more). I'm setting up my son's small school with a PiaF and they are entirely wireless. I need multi-line wireless phones for the administrative staff...

    Google voice going to IVR

ooma is behind the router. and you've seen all the NAT rules. Also SIP ALG is disabled. It does have uPNP enabled but I don't see a way to access or flush the tables.

    Google voice going to IVR

I have not done any NAT forwarding as the IncrediblePBX instructions said it was not necessary. Perhaps I have some old settings in there though as I've run Asterisk boxes in the house before. I'll double check. I have a D-LINK DIR-655 NAT screenshot...

    Google voice going to IVR

Thanks for taking the time to reply Ward, and all of your writeups and work over the years. In any case, I'm looking at the config and don't see where I went wrong:

    Google voice going to IVR

I just installed purple a couple of days ago + IncrediblePBX 2.0. Set up a google voice account (with @gmail.com address used for nothing else), tested outgoing calls made to my cell phone via GV and my cell phone rings, but when I answer, my SIP phone is still ringing and I am never...

    Teleyapper and IncrediblePBX 2.0

That would be great, thanks. I just wanted to make sure too that these are compatible with 1.8. This is for a small school and the teachers there are about as far from technical as you might imagine.

    Teleyapper and IncrediblePBX 2.0

I think we're on v5 at this point. I was doing some further reading since my post and see that at least with v4, there was no easy to use UI for non techies to administer the call list. I can probably write some instructions on how to use phpmyadmin but I guess I was expecting some obvious...

    Teleyapper and IncrediblePBX 2.0

The documentation for IPBX 2.0 says Teleyapper is included, but I don't see it in the UI or modules. I installed purple and am installing this at my son's small school. I figured teleyapper would be great this winter for notifications on snow days.
