Running the PBX in a flash GREEN... We did a VMWare update from 5.0 to 5.5, and now we get the message "Some other host uses address 10.30.35.7. I had a static host record in DNS to point to the IP address, but have removed that. Still no luck. There is NOT another device using that network...

Thanks - this solved a current issue for me. I used Winscp to delete the lock file on the user's mailbox.

mondotemp I've also had the problem with Mondo filling up the HD. I've deleted the iso's but it looks like Mondo is still running in the backgound. How would I go about killing it? The file mondotemp is continuing to grow - it's at 1,041,534,976 and counting... I would like to delete that as...

Sounds really odd - do you have the phone plugging into a managed switch to see if there is any problems with the connection? Have you tried a different network port?

Tom, I'm rebuilding a PBX for a remote site. After I finished, I ran the full backup, then inserted a new HD, did the restore. Works flawlessly. Thanks! Tom

Yes - that is what it is doing. It would be nice to have it use my callerID. We just got new DID's, so were are trying to make sure all our customers/suppliers learn the new numbers. Tom

Thanks gaetz, I changed a default setting from ext-local to from-internal, and now I can complete the call. It still comes in as unknown, and the outbound call does not carry my callerID - but it does use our main number.

I don't see where a GUI would add value. Purging old files would be a great addition - no GUI would be needed for that as well. As you mention, after it is set up it just runs. The comments are very helpful as you work your way through the configs.

Yes - No GUI. As a side note - before you do the backup, you may want to check your system for extra large files you don't need anymore. I've had my FreePBX backups running on auto pilot for a while now - Daily/weekly/monthly. I was wondering why I needed 4 DVD ISO's to do a rebuild :eek:

Do you mean a VoIP provider? I've been using Voip.ms for years. Excellent quality, good support, and they have a bunch of POPs.

I like 17 vs 9. The colors seem to match well with PiaF- the brown in 9 is a bit boring.

Ok - I don't have any experience with them. Switching from a VM to a 'real' PC may or may not solve your issue, so it's best to try something else. You may want to try a soft phone to see if there is echo.

What kind of phones are you using? I'm wondering if there's a tweak you could do there...
