Trying to run reports (specifically Asternic) to try to determine who is answering calls, and who is not can be quite confusing when you are using Ring Groups. So when looking at things, the CDR has a value of either Answered, or No Answer. I really see this as an oversight, and feel there should be another disposition for the CDR called "Answered Elsewhere".

Has anyone ever looked into this or have any comments about it? Is there a reason why it hasn't been done, or why it shouldn't be done? Am I just missing something?

@krzykat ... You are SO right: Ring groups make the default CDR reports confusing! But, there's a really simple, built-in solution!

Before you click the "Search" button on the CDR Reports panel, look to the left of that button. In a drop-down box you'll see "All Dispositions". Click the down-arrow, and select "Answered". Then click the Search button.

The result will show only the 'Answered' disposition of calls. Now, if you hover the cursor over the ring-group number in the 'destination' column, you'll see the extension that actually answered the call.
