TRY THIS When SSH to Pi3 Kbd numeric keys not working

When I SSH from putty on Win7 into Pi3 Kbd numeric keys not working.
I'm not sure if this is a putty problem or a bit of a raspberry?
Particularly noticeable in nano etc.

Anyone know how to fix?

sorry I don't have any suggestions, I have not encountered that problem when I was using win 7 and Pi3's. Now, I don't even have any win 7 systems. Good luck

Thanks for that; but by way of update it seams to be linux related as I can type numbers happily in the linux cli but in nano says no to my numeric keypad keystrokes. I assume as well other editors may also be defective? (sic)

I just tested on my Win 7 machine using Putty to access my Incredible Pi3 . I'm experiencing the same problem in Nano. Let me dig around and see if I can find a solution. Very odd indeed!

A quick Google search found the fix for me. Try this. I just followed the instructions and uncommented out the line "set rebindkeypad"

Restart nano and the keypad is working!
