Haven't tried it with Asterisk 11.7. Something may have been "improved."

What does running this command show:
Code:
asterisk -rx "core show version" | grep -m 2 ^ | tail -1 | cut -f 2 -d " "

If you're sure you have Asterisk 11 running, then edit incrediblepbx11 and comment out the following line:
Code:
 exit 2

so that it looks like this:
Code:
# exit 2

yup looks like redhat now keeps a copy of hylafx in their repo. Will have to remove ours. You can

rpm -e hylafax-server
rpm -e hylafax-client

then yum -y install hylafax*

....also ward the help-pbx still has links to old incredible pbx and fax can the 11 ones (or whatever is current) be updated into the menu help?

Thanks

You didn't respond to my question. What does running the following command show?
Code:
asterisk -rx "core show version" | grep -m 2 ^ | tail -1 | cut -f 2 -d " "

This utility installs Incredible PBX 11.
Exiting. Asterisk 11 is required for this install.

with a clean install as bellow (as Ward said in http://nerdvittles.com/?p=6072):

Hi tom,
after Piaf green clean install on XEN server, I had this when want to stop hylafax server via webmin module :
Error stopping HylaFAX :32512sh: /etc/init.d/hylafax: No such file or directory

So did this :
rpm -e hylafax-server
rpm -e hylafax-client

then yum -y install hylafax*

but here is the result :

root@piaf2:~ $ rpm -e hylafax-server
error: package hylafax-server is not installed

root@piaf2:~ $ rpm -e hylafax-client

Unless you are willing to pay (double) overtime rates for a quick fix during the holiday break, I'd suggest you wait until after the first of next year for a free fix. :arabia:

Ok, spent a lot during the Christmas weeks :(, so prefer waiting,

But, its really frustrating for my first great incrediblepbx11 green flavor to finish the year with this issue !!.
